Walker Interactive (now Elevon) develops and markets financial software and systems to the enterprise market. Walker, with funding from partner IBM, contacted Summit Strategy Partners to design a lead generation campaign to create awareness for a series of live executive briefings and a Web seminar.
Summit Strategy Partners provided the creative component for the campaign, leveraging off of designated IBM and Walker messaging. We developed the theme, selected the outreach vehicles and managed vendors to meet the outreach timeline. Summit Strategy Partners recommended a "Deep e-Business Guidebook" and a T-shirt as giveaways.
Summit Strategy Partners created a three-postcard campaign with an executive invitation, email reminders and a Web page with link to help spur executive meetings and drive advance registration for the Web seminar. The outreach was timed to link to a two-month IBM ad campaign in major IT publications including Computerworld, eWeek and InformationWeek. IBM and Walker used their own targeted lists for the mailing with additional targets acquired from CIO Magazine, CFO Magazine, InfoWorld, and Bank Systems and Technologies.
Nearly 300 high-level prospective customers attended a Walker briefing or the seminar. Summit Strategy Partners has now supported three IBM/Walker joint marketing programs.
