ChannelAdvisor Corporation provides technology and services for companies to improve their selling practices using online marketplaces. Summit Strategy Partners created and managed an email lead generation campaign to target a new business sector for ChannelAdvisor. The campaign was targeted at the VP level of marketing, ecommerce, and sales of Fortune 5,000 companies in consumer electronics and computers/computer peripheral. Recognizing that this level of executive mindshare comes at a premium, Summit Strategy Partners crafted a compelling message and offer of a free consulting service. We tested and proved the email campaign messages and offer in the marketplace with members of the target audience prior to the execution of the campaign.
The email campaign yielded a three percent return. Business generated from the campaign surpassed the cost of the campaign in less than one month and has now delivered an ROI of several hundred percent.
